MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012461 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'adjustable brick wall laying assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Amanpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable brick wall laying assistive device comprises of the frame 1 is installed on a layer of laid brick, a display panel 2 is accessed by a user for providing input, an imaging unit 3 for determining dimensions of laid bricks, a speaker 4 to produce audio notification for user regarding misalignment of laid layer of bricks, a tray 5 accessed by user for loading cement mixture which is to be layered on top of laid brick layer, a bar 8 assembled with multiple extendable links 9 that get extended for positioning links 9 in contact with dispensed mixture while frame 1 moves along layer for engraving lines on mixture in order to provide required friction on dispensed mixture to aid in settling of another layer of bricks for assisting user in brick wall laying."
