MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007855 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'adjustable brick laying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Nagaraj Patil.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable brick laying device a body 1 mounted on ground via multiple suction cup 2, an imaging unit 3 to determine presence of bricks in vicinity, a display panel 4 to input user-desired pattern to be formed by laying bricks, a bar 5 extends to position an attached member 6 over detected bricks detected by an ultrasonic sensor, multiple hinge joints 7 enables movement of member 6 for gripping bricks, a sliding unit 8 arranged between bar 5 and disc 9 for providing circular movement to bar 5 around disc 9, simultaneously bar 5 extends/retracts and hinge joints 7 actuates for providing movement to member 6 to lay bricks around body 1 as per user-specified pattern, a weight sensor installed on member 6 for detecting weight distribution of brick over bar 5, in case of inappropriate weight distribution, a rod 10 extends to provide support to bar 5."
