MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018868 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable brick aligning device for wall construction.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable brick aligning device for wall construction, comprising a L-shaped frame 1 positioned on edge of a first layer of bricks, a laser sensor installed on frame 1 for detecting dimension of edge, a motorized hinge joint 3 arranged within frame 1 orients frame 1 to secure edge, a touch interactive display panel 4 accessed by user to input details regarding alignment of wall, a first motorized roller 5 arranged on frame 1 rotates to deploy a plumb bob 11 attached with rope 12 to detect vertical alignment of wall, a telescopic plate 6 gets extended in horizontal direction to deploy a second motorized roller 7 which unwinds a string 13 to detect horizontal alignment of wall, two laser sensors installed on frame 1 for detecting misalignment of wall, a robotic link 8 configured on frame 1 for aligning wall by a flap 9 attached with link 8."
