MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018189 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'adjustable boiling assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Vishnu Prasad Shrivastava.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable boiling assistive device, comprises of a frame having a circular ring 1 developed to be positioned over the mouth portion of a utensil utilized for boiling, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for detecting dimensions of the mouth portion of the utensil, plurality of expandable flaps 3 oriented around the ring 1 for covering the mouth portion of the utensil by forming a concave structure, a motorized hinge joint for deploying the inverted L-shaped plates 4 in an upward direction, plurality of cavities 5 to allow steam/foam produced within the utensil to escape out from the utensil, multiple suction units 6 to extract the collected steam/foam from the concave structure, and a conduit 7 configured with the frame and positioned by the user near an auxiliary outlet."
