MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017917 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'adjustable bird deterrent device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable bird deterrent device, comprising a a frame 1 having multiple tines 2 positioned on a fixed surface, multiple suction cups 3 arranged underneath the frame 1 for affixing the frame 1 on fixed surface, a LiDAR sensor 4 installed on the frame 1 for detecting surface level, multiple motorized pin joints 5 integrated between the tines 2 for stabilizing the frame 1, an imaging unit 6 mounted on the frame 1 detecting presence of bird, multiple motorized sliding unit 7 arranged on the tines 2 for translating multiple water reservoirs 8 assembled on the tines 2 towards the birds, a rain sensor 9 installed on the frame 1 detecting rain, multiple inverted U-shaped links 10 arranged on each of the joints and a canopy 11 arranged on the links 10 for covering the frame 1."
