MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004061 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'adjustable bicycle lifting assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable bicycle lifting assistive device, comprising an elongated body 1 installed in between down tube and seat tube of a bicycle, an imaging unit 2 installed on body 1 for determining distance between the tubes, a linear actuator integrated with body 1 for aligning the body 1 in between the tubes, a pair of clamping units 3 mapped on body 1 to grip over the tubes, a plate 4 integrated with plurality of cavities arranged on body 1 secured with an iris lid 5 for opening to insert user's fingers, a robotic arm 6 arranged on body 1 to support the user's hand in uplifting the bicycle, a gyroscope 7 integrated on body for monitoring bicycle inclination level, a motorized sliding unit 8 arranged on body 1 integrated with a weight block 9 to translate the block 9 for balancing inclination angle."
