MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019290 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'adjustable beverage drinking assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shiv Bharat Singh; and Dr. Jagvir Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable beverage drinking assistive device, comprising a telescopically operated frame 1 positioned on a neck portion of a bottle, a first and second ring 4, 5 accommodating upper and lower portion of bottle's neck, a laser sensor detecting length of bottle's neck along with diameter of neck for actuating frame 1 to extend or retract for properly positioning bottle's neck, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 7 for determining successful gripping of bottle for actuating a holographic projection unit 8 for projecting a holographic image on user's face to assist user regarding positioning of bottle, a C-shaped member 9 providing support to bottle on user's chin while bottle is manually positioned by user and a gyroscopic sensor detecting angle of bottle while tilted by user in order to dispense water from bottle for actuating telescopic pins 10 for tilting the bottle."
