MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017924 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'adjustable anchoring device for vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable anchoring device for vehicles, comprising a circular shaped frame 1 positioned in proximity to a vehicle stuck on a sandy surface by means of multiple rods 2, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting distance between frame 1 and surface for actuating linear actuators 3 for providing movement to rods 2 that aids in penetration of multiple sharp edged plates 4, a tactile sensor detecting hardness of surface for actuating a crank-shaft arrangement 5 for hammering bar 6 that aids in pushing of the plates 4 inside surface, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 7 for determining presence of vehicle(s) for actuating motorized roller 8 to rotate to unwind chain, a C-shaped clamp 9 accessed by user to engage with a towing hook of vehicles, followed by actuation of roller 8 to pull vehicle out of the surface."
