MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054539 A) filed by Moresco Corporation, Hyogo, Japan, on June 5, for 'adhesive remover and adhesive removal method using said adhesive remover.'

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an adhesive remover capable of sufficiently removing an adhesive from a material; and an adhesive removal method using said adhesive remover. The aforementioned problem can be solved by an adhesive remover containing an oil and a surfactant, wherein: the oil contains one or more types of substances selected from the group consisting of a specific vegetable oil, a specific ester oil, an aliphatic carboxylic acid, and a mineral oil; and the surfactant contains an anionic surfactant and/or a nonionic surfactant that has an HLB of more than 5 and that is liquid at room temperature."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 20, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/041578.
