Abstract: "Adaptive Real-Time Spam Email Detection System Using Hybrid NLP and Deep Learning" Abstract: Email communication is frequently exploited for spam, phishing attacks, and malware threats. Traditional spam detection systems rely on predefined rules and batch processing, making them ineffective against evolving attack techniques. This invention introduces an Adaptive Real-Time Spam Email Detection System that leverages a hybrid approach combining Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning for dynamic email classification. The system integrates IMAP for real-time email retrieval and employs advanced feature extraction techniques, including contextual word embeddings and transformer-based models like BERT. Unlike conventional classifiers, this system features adaptive learning, continuously improving detection accuracy based on user feedback and evolving spam patterns. Additionally, an AI-driven phishing detection module analyzes email metadata, embedded links, and sender authenticity to enhance cybersecurity. The system is deployed as a Flask/FastAPI based web application, enabling real-time monitoring and user interaction. By leveraging hybrid AI models and real-time classification, this innovation provides higher accuracy, faster processing, and enhanced security against email-based cyber threats, reducing phishing risks and financial fraud.
