MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104552 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'adaptive lens positioning system for optical transceivers.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Naveen Kumar Saini; and Avinash Shrivastava.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides an adaptive lens positioning system for an optical transceiver. The system comprises a housing configured to provide structural retention. A lens frame is pivotally supported within the housing on a first hinge pin and a second hinge pin disposed orthogonally. A first cam track is disposed within the housing and aligned with the first hinge pin. A second cam track is disposed within the housing and aligned with the second hinge pin. A first cam follower is coupled to the first hinge pin and guided within the first cam track. A second cam follower is coupled to the second hinge pin and guided within the second cam track. A rotary actuator shaft is operatively engaged with the first cam track and the second cam track such that synchronous angular displacement of the lens frame is imparted about the first hinge pin and the second hinge pin."
