MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105143 A) filed by Manav Rachna University, Faridabad, Haryana, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'adaptive learning desk system for neurodiverse learners.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system for providing an adaptive learning environment for neurodiverse learners. The system comprises a desk structure configured to serve as a workstation surface, at least one sensing unit integrated with the desk structure, a processing unit operatively coupled with the sensing unit, an environmental adjustment unit operatively coupled with the processing unit, and a communication interface operatively associated with the processing unit. The sensing unit is configured to detect at least one of physiological parameters, positional parameters, or behavioral indicators of a learner. The processing unit is configured to receive data signals from the sensing unit, analyse the data signals to identify stress states or distraction states of the learner, and generate adaptive control instructions based on such analysis. The environmental adjustment unit is configured to regulate at least one environmental parameter proximate to the desk structure in accordance with the adaptive control instructions. The communication interface is configured to transmit the data signals or processed engagement information to an external device for monitoring or remote intervention."
