MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441038032 A) filed by Numeros Motors Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on May 15, 2024, for 'adaptive ignition detect system.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a single ignition circuit 100 configured to operate at 3.3V or 48V. The circuit comprises a battery management system (BMS) Ignition Signal 102.The BMS Ignition Signal 102, is activated by turning ON the vehicle ignition switch, and configured to generate an ignition signal 202. Further an optocoupler 108, connected to the BMS Ignition Signal 102, A vehicle control unit 104 configured to intercept the ignition signal 202. An ignition detect circuit 208, provided within the vehicle control unit 104, is configured to detect the ignition signal 202 and further send the signal to a microcontroller integrated within the vehicle control unit 104. An input divider circuit 206 having a plurality of resistor, and a plurality of dividers 106, configured to enable the BMS Ignition Signal 102 to work in voltage range of 3.3V to 48V and restrict voltage in input the circuit."
