MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511134603 A) filed by Manipal University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'adaptive emergency mobility management system with traffic-hospital coordination.'

Inventor(s) include Ar. Anushri Gaur; and Dr. Kusum Kanwar.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adaptive emergency mobility management system (100) for enabling coordinated emergency vehicle movement and hospital preparedness in urban traffic environments. The system comprises an emergency vehicle (110) equipped with an emergency vehicle module (111), a central control unit (120), smart signal controllers (130) operatively connected to traffic signal assemblies (131) across a traffic network (140), a hospital communication interface (150) linked to a hospital information system (151), a data communication network (160), and a post-clearance traffic recovery module (170). Upon activation, the emergency vehicle module (111) transmits real-time vehicle data to the central control unit (120), which performs predictive route analysis and synchronizes traffic signals via the smart signal controllers (130). Simultaneously, arrival information is communicated to the hospital information system (151), and normal traffic flow is gradually restored after emergency vehicle passage."
