MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511124422 A) filed by Manav Rachna International Institute Of Research & Studies, Faridabad, Haryana, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'adaptive electric vehicle (ev) charging system and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Nidhi Bansal; Bishal; and Sumit Kumar Maitra.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptive electric vehicle (EV) charging system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a sensor interface (112) configured to receive real-time battery telemetry data from a Battery Management (BM) board (110). The system (100) further comprises a processing unit (114) communicatively connected to the sensor interface (112). The system (100) is configured to receive the real-time battery telemetry data; analyze a historical charging data, from the received real-time battery telemetry data, to generate a battery-specific profile; determine a state-of-charge (SoC) from the analyzed historical charging data; execute a machine learning model to check for anomalies in cells (108a-108n), when the state-of-charge (SoC) lies within a predefined critical range; and adjust charging parameters to apply safety measures, when the anomalies are detected in the cells (108a-108n). The system (100) enables proactive safety measures and reduces likelihood of catastrophic failure."
