MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117015 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'adaptive comfort travel support device.'

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptive comfort travel support device, comprising a body 101 with a padding 102 to be rested on shoulders, a pair of extendable curved rods 103 to provide arm support, multiple inflatable members with an inflating unit to generate a cushioned surface, a pivot assembly for altering inclination of the body 101, an EMG (electromyography) sensor for detecting muscle tension, a vibrating unit to provide massaging sensations, an impact sensor to detect sudden impact, a vibration damper for absorbing the travel-induced vibrations, and a microphone to provide input voice commands."
