MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541131114 A) filed by Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 24, 2025, for 'adaptive attestation ledger for enclave orchestrated federated learning at edge gateways.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. M. Thangamani; B. Dinesh Govarthan; and V Govarthan.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to an adaptive attestation ledger system for privacy-preserving, enclaveorchestrated federated learning at edge gateways. Multimodal data from edge devices. including sensor, user, and application sources is processed within secure enclaves, where each federated contribution is bound to a round-specific nonce and enclave-verified timer. Model updates or emfjeddings undergo cryptographic sealing, are paired with remote attestation reports ^proving code integrity, timer validity, and ledger policy corripliance, and are only transmitted to federated aggregation ser^ers or cloud services if validated. All raw data and pre-attested cohtributions remain strictly on-device. The adaptive attestation ledger enforces dynamic policy requirements, logs attestation and compliance events, and triggers automatic zeroization and verifiable deletion proofs upon expiry or policy violation. This approach ensures robust privacy, reproducibility, and end-to-end auditability, enabling data minimization, tnisted provenance, policy alignment, and explainable, verifiable Al workfiows in scalable edge-to-cloud federated learning deployments."
