MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020030 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'adaptable wooden log carrying device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable wooden log carrying device comprises of a frame 1 having first 2 and second 3 portion, a hitch 4 configured on first 2 portion to attach frame 1 with vehicle, U-shaped rod 5 attached with second 3 portion for providing support to frame 1, motorized wheels 6 attached with rod 5 for providing movement to frame 1, an imaging unit 7 for capturing surrounding images, worm gear 8 configured with bar 9 for providing movement to bar 9 in downward direction for encasing of flaps 10 attached with bar 9, hinge joint 11 configured between flaps 10 for providing movement to flaps 10, a pneumatic air suspension 12 configured between wheels 6 and rods 5 to provide stability to frame 1, and a motorized slewing bearing 13 configured between second 3 portion and rod 5 for providing rotational motion to rod 5."
