MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022629 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'adaptable water sport system.'

Inventor(s) include Rajat Tiwari.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable water sport system, comprising a plurality of bodies 1 developed to form a platform like structure, an inflatable layer 3 integrated over the bodies 1 for maintaining floatable state of the structure over surface of a water body, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on the structure to monitor position of the users on the structure, plurality of motorized clamping units 5 installed on the platform for gripping foot portion of the users, plurality of motorized iris lids 6 integrated on the bodies 1 for allowing water to enter inside the bodies 1, a gyroscope 7 integrated on the bodies 1 for monitoring angle of the bodies 1 with respect to the water and plurality of motorized propellers 2 installed on the bodies 1 for orienting the bodies 1 at a required orientation with respect to the water."
