MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024662 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable tire fixing device for vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Satendra Singh; and Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable tire fixing device for vehicles, comprising a vertical frame 1 positioned on a ground surface and installed with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 to determine positioning of a vehicle on a jack, plurality of motorized wheels 3 move frame 1 towards vehicle, a multi-sectioned chamber 4 is accessed by two robotic arms 5 to grip a required tool stored in chamber 4, an ultrasonic sensor determines presence of slots on vehicle accordingly arms 5 affixing nut and bolts on slots by means of gripped tools, followed by accessing a new tyre install tyre in slot, an IR (infrared) sensor determines presence of any hole on installed tyre, an electronically controlled nozzle 6 integrated on frame 1 to dispense an adhesive in proximity to hole, followed by gripping and affixing of a rubber patch stored on hole in order to adhere patch on hole."
