MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024166 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'adaptable textured wall painting device.'

Inventor(s) include Lavish Gupta; Janmeet Singh; Sonia Verma; Mandeep Sharma; and Ramanjeet Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable textured wall painting device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 that is accessed by a user for selecting a design pattern to be painted on a wall present, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines positioning of wall from body 1, plurality of motorized wheels 4 move body 1 towards wall, an ultrasonic sensor detects dimensions of wall, a platform 5 arranged underneath body 1 by means of a motorized scissor lift arrangement 6 for positioning body 1 on top portion of wall, plurality of rollers 7 coiled with adhesive tape, a pair of motorized grippers 8 grips end of tape and applies tape at evaluated pattern on wall, a cutting blade 9 cut tape, a multi-sectioned chamber 10 having multiple electronically controlled sprinklers 11 dispense paint onto wall, thereafter grippers 8 removes tape from wall."
