MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025432 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable snack preparation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable snack preparation device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, suction units 2 for affixing the platform 1 on the surface, touch interactive display panel 3 accessed by a user for selecting dimensions of a snack to be prepared, plate 4 arranged on the platform 1 and mounted with an inverted U-shaped frame 5 by means of a pair of motorized sliding units 6, multi-sectioned chamber 7 integrated with an electronically controlled sprinkler 8 to dispense a lubricating solution in view of imparting smoothness to the plate 4, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 for capturing multiple images of the platform 1, to determine spreading of the solution on the plate 4, motorized roller 10 internally connected with a conduit 11 accessed by the user for positioning end of the conduit 11 in an auxiliary vessel 12 stored with batter."
