MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022864 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'adaptable snack preparation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable snack preparation assistive device comprises a cylindrical body 1 having a proximal 2 and distal 3 end a touch interactive display panel arranged on the body 1 for user input, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 determine dimensions of the edible present in proximity to the distal 3 end, a pair of telescopically operated links 7 integrated in the body 1, each by means of a motorized sliding unit 8, a semi-circular plate 9 is integrated on ends of the links and integrated with a blade 10 that is positioned over the evaluated pattern, an extendable flap 11 arranged underneath the plate to extend, a motorized hinge joint 12 is integrated between the plate and flap to deploy the flaps underneath cut portion of the edible, and a disc 13 for inserting a stick inside the body 1 over which the uplifted portions are engaged."
