MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024803 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable shoe-shopping assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Hemlata; Roopika Malhotra; Sanvi Tomar; and Nancy.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable shoe-shopping assistive device, comprises a rectangular frame 1 installed on a vertical support, a circular slot arranged on the plate accommodates a footwear, multiple suction cups 3 arranged on the slot adheres the footwear, a DC motor integrated with each of the slot rotates the slot, an imaging unit 4 captures images vicinity of the frame 1, a microphone 5 installed on the frame 1 enables the user to provide input specifications regarding a particular footwear, a holographic projection unit 6 project a virtual image of corresponding price in surroundings of particular footwear."
