MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025564 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable ropeway system for transferring goods.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable ropeway system for transferring goods, comprising a pair of frames that is developed to be installed on ground surface at an appropriate distance from both ends of a cliff, a pair of platforms 2 are installed on each of frames are positioned on surface, parallel to each other, multiple motorized drill bits 3 affixes frames at ends of cliff, an extendable vertical support 4 attains a stable orientation of frames on surfaces, a motorized roller 7 establishes a cable in between frames, over cliff, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 determines presence of heavy object in proximity, a pair of U-shaped structures 10 suspended from ceiling of carrying unit, each by means of a hydraulically operated bar 11 positions structure 5 at ends of object, plurality of motorized grippers 1 integrated on structures 10 grips accommodated object, and a motorized wheel for moving carrying unit along cable."
