MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024934 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable roller-stand device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable roller-stand device comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface having a first and second section, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the platform 1 for capturing and processing images of the platform 1, a touch interactive display panel 3 installed on the platform 1 for receiving user's input, motorized wheels 4 arranged underneath the platform 1 to move the platform 1 over the surface, a LiDAR sensor 5 embedded on the platform 1 for determining distance of the object, hydraulically operated rods 6 integrated in between the platform 1 and the wheels to extend/retract for positioning the platform 1 underneath ends of the object, plurality of plates 7 configured on the first section of the platform 1 to tilt the plates 7, plurality of pop-out balls 8 are arranged on the plates 7 for allowing object to slide on platform 1."
