MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022852 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'adaptable radiator-straightening assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable radiator-straightening assistive device, comprising a C-shaped frame 1 fabricated with a handle 2 accessed by a user to position frame 1 to a radiator of a vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 detects orientation of radiator's fins, a speaker 4 guides user to position frame 1 near evaluated portions, plurality of Peltier units provide an optimum amount of heat for loosening material of fins, plurality of pentagonal plates 5 arranged on peripheral portion of frame 1, a LiDAR sensor determines gaps between fins of radiator, a motorized sliding unit 6 provides translation to plates 5 for arranging plates 5 and followed by actuation of speaker 4 to guide user to move frame 1 in upward direction for straightening heated fins, thereby facilitating in maintenance of radiator."
