According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable queen-bee marking assistive device, comprising an elongated frame 1 having a handle 2 to position distal end near a bee-hive, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines a queen bee in bee-hive, a telescopically operated rod 5 positions a first and second cylindrical member 7 in proximity to queen-bee, L-shaped link 4 extends for enabling user to placing first cylindrical member 6 on queen bee that queen bee is accommodated in first member 6, an ultrasonic sensor detects presence of any worker bee in cylindrical member apart from queen bee, a motorized flap 8 gets opened/closed for separating worker bee, a circular plate 9 is moved by a linear actuator for capturing queen bee in first member 6, a dual-axis motorized sliding unit translates a vessel to determined point, an iris lid dispenses fluid on point to apply a visible mark on captured queen bee."
