MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022630 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'adaptable pole-stability assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Minakshi Khushoo.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable pole-stability assistive device, comprise of a frame 1 having a circular ring 2, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 integrated in the frame 1 to determine dimensions of the installed pole, a flexible membrane filled with a dense liquid arranged on outer periphery of the ring 2, a motorized roller integrated on lateral ends of the membrane to rotate over the membrane for compressing the liquid in a manner to restrict the sway and multiple motorized U-shaped flaps integrated in the frame 1 by means of linear actuators to extend/retract the flaps in for getting positioned vertically over the membrane at specific distances."
