MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024710 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable pet animal walker and storage assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Deepak Dwivedi; and Dr. Jaggi Lal.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable pet animal walker and storage assistive device comprises of a wearable body 1 developed to be worn by a user over belly portion, a pair of straps 4 are arranged with the body 1 for securing the body 1 around belly portion and neck portion of the pet, multiple pressure sensors mounted on the body 1 and straps 4 for detecting pressure applied by the body 1 and straps 4 on the belly and neck portion, a pair of motorized rollers 3 for rotating on its axis to properly fit the body 1 and straps 4, a microphone 5 to give voice commands regarding storage of good/objects over the body 1, multiple flaps are organized over the body 1 each via a motorized hinge joint 2 to form a closed structure above the body 1 for allowing the user to accommodate goods/objects within the structure."
