MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018720 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'adaptable pet accommodation device for two wheelers.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Tapaswinee Das.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable pet accommodation device for two wheelers, comprising a U-shaped extendable platform 101 attached with head tube of a two wheeler by means of a motorized expandable clamp 102, and accessed by user to accommodate a pet that to be carried, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 103 determines dimensions of pet, a motorized drawer arrangement alters dimensions of the platform 101, a motorized hinge joint deploy flaps 104 around lateral sides of platform 101 to enclose pet within platform 101, multiple weight sensors monitors weight distribution of pet over platform 101, a pair of motorized extendable sliding units 105 translates multiple weight blocks to regulate weight distribution of platform 101 in view of preventing detachment of platform 101 from handle tube."
