MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018718 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'adaptable pen holding device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable pen holding device, comprising a plate 101 attached with spiral ring of a notebook by means of plurality of motorized clamps 102, suction units 103 create a negative pressure to affix the plate 101 with the notebook, a curved extendable member 104 accessed by a user to position a writing tool over the member 104 that is to be gripped, microphone 105 to receive voice command of the user regrading griping of the writing tool, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 106 determines dimensions of the writing tool and plurality of curved links 107 configured with lateral sides of the member 104 each by means of a motorized hinge 108 joint provide rotation to the links 107 in view of gripping the tool in a secured manner."
