MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023597 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'adaptable pallet manufacturing assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Dilip Kumar; and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable pallet manufacturing assistive device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a display panel 2 mounted on the platform 1 for enabling a user to provide input commands, a rectangular plate 3 having plurality of vertical strips 4 integrated on the platform 1 for accommodating wooden planks, a frame 5 integrated on the platform 1, wherein a dual axis motorized slider 6 is integrated on the frame 5 that to provide translation to a drilling unit 7 suspended from the slider 6 to drill a cavity in each of the intersections, a multi-sectioned chamber 8 arranged on the platform 1 for storing multiple nails, a robotic arm 9 installed on the platform 1 for positioning the nail in the drilled cavity and a hammer 10 suspended from the slider 6 for fixing the nail in the cavity in order to engage the planks."
