MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013460 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'adaptable noodles preparation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable noodles preparation device, comprises of a body 1 arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 for providing input regarding a user-desired quantity and thickness of noodles, an electronically controlled nozzle 4 integrated on each of the section for dispensing an appropriate quantity of the ingredients into a convex-shaped structure 5 arranged underneath the chamber 3, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 installed within the body 1 to determine positioning of the accommodated ingredients on the structure 5, pushers 7 ranging from 3 to 5 in numbers integrated on periphery of the structure 5 to apply pressure on ingredients with varying intensities to prepare a dough, iris lids 11 integrated at base of the member 10 open up to the user-specified diameter, and a telescopically operated piston arranged within the member 10 to dispense the dough from the iris lids 11 resulting in preparation of the noodles."
