MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007811 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'adaptable multi-utility device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable multi-utility device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be installed on a wall surface by means of multiple suction cups 2, a proximity sensor detecting presence of a user in vicinity to platform 1 for actuating a first motorized hinge joint 3 for deploying plate 4 in a horizontal orientation for allowing user to attain sitting posture, a sensing module detecting presence of rain along with intensity of sunlight incident for actuating a second motorized hinge joint 5 for deploying a curved shaped member 6 in order to shield user, and an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 7 for determining presence of stair-case underneath wall surface for actuating third motorized hinge joint 8 and multiple spherical members for translating heavy object over the staircase."
