MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011196 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'adaptable mosquito net deploying device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Laxmidhar Maharana.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable mosquito net deploying device, comprising an inverted U-shaped extendable frame 101 positioned over one side of a bed via a plate 102 configured with each end of frame 101, multiple suction units 103 affixes frame 101 with bed, an imaging unit 104 determines length and breadth of bed, an motorized sliding unit 105 provides translation to a motorized gripper 106 which grip free end of first net, a primary roller 107 wrapped with first mosquito net 108, unwraps the net along breadth of bed, two collapsible rods 109 configured with multiple links 110, which are interconnected via a motorized hinge joint 111 that deploy rods 109 over bed, a secondary and tertiary motorized roller (113, 114) wrapped with third and fourth mosquito net (115, 116), a motorized clamp 117 grips free end of third and fourth mosquito net (115, 116) which gets deployed around lateral sides of bed."
