MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020155 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 18, 2024, for 'adaptable maintenance assistive system for two-wheelers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable maintenance assistive system for two-wheelers, comprising a pair of elongated C-shaped frames 1 in proximity of front and rear tire of two-wheeler, an imaging unit 2 for determining position of fixed support on two-wheeler, a pair of C-shaped clamps 3 via hydraulic link 4 to extend/retract for positioning the clamps 3 in proximity to support on two-wheeler, a motorized hinge joint 6 to provide converging diverging movement to clamps 3 for acquiring a hold of support, plurality of suction units 5 to adhere to support for securing clamps 3 on support, plurality of motorized wheels to move frames 1 over the surface for positioning the frames 1 beneath front and rear tires of two-wheeler, a microphone 8 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands regarding further uplifting of accommodated two-wheeler and plurality of hydraulically operated rod 9 for increasing/decreasing height of frames 1."
