MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025514 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable luggage loading/unloading assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable luggage loading/unloading assistive device, comprising frame 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, pair of horizontal rods 2 for supporting the frame 1 on the surface, vertical support 3 assembled with an extendable platform 4 that is accessed by a user for accommodating a luggage on, touch interactive display panel 5 is accessed by user for providing input regarding a vehicle 3 where the luggage is to be loaded, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the frame 1, motorized wheels 7 arranged to move the frame 1, motorized sliding units 8 for translating the platform 4 in, drawer arrangement 9 to extend the platform 4 for positioning the platform 4 over the vehicle's carriage and a motorized hinge joint 10 to tilt portion of the platform 4 for deploying the accommodated luggage on the vehicle carriage section or support 3."
