MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022350 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22, 2024, for 'adaptable load supporting assistive device for vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Amanparteek Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable load supporting assistive device for vehicles comprises of, a T-shaped frame 1 having a first and second portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed in the frame 1 to detect surface of chassis of the vehicle, multiple suction units assembled on one end of the rod 3 to get adhered to the chassis, a pair of hydraulically operated bar 5 configured on the second portion for supporting the protruded sheets, a pair of C-shaped clamps 4 are installed on ends of the bar 5 for securing the sheets on the frame 1 and a microphone is mounted on the frame 1 that is accessed by the user to provide input voice commands corresponding to unloading of the sheets from the trunk."
