MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005544 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'adaptable helmet storage and showcasing device.'
Inventor(s) include Harsimranjeet Singh; Ashwini K. Sharma; and Navdeep Prashar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable helmet storage and showcasing device, comprising a frame 1 having a plate 2 positioned on a wall surface and attached with six to eight U-shaped rods 3 integrated with a circular member 4 for accommodating helmets, a touch interactive display panel 5 accessed by a user for selecting a helmet, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 determines dimensions of user's head, a LED (light emitting diode) 7 integrated on each rods 3 and one of them get illuminated to guide user to look towards helmet, a motorized hinge joint 8 tilts member 4 to provide proper glance of helmet, a motor rotates member 4 to provide 360 degree view of helmet, a L-shaped pole 10 extends and positions a motorized C-shaped clamp 9 acquires a grip over helmet and rotate helmet in order to allow an internal view of helmet."
