MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020739 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'adaptable grilling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Pramod; Rohit; Mehak; and Rijul.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable grilling assistive device, comprising a cylindrical body 1 having a first portion 2 and second portion 3, pair of handles 4 accessed by user to position body 1, touch interactive display panel 5 enabling user to provide input specifications of eatables, cylindrical furnace 6 enabling user to accommodate coal in furnace, automatic igniter to provide user-specified intensity, motorized flap 7 to close the furnace, multiple rotatable slots 8 enabling user to insert multiple grilling rods, AI-based imaging unit 9 to capture multiple images of the body 1, pneumatic link 10 to exert upward force on accommodated rods to uplift the rods, speaker 11 to notify the user regarding cooking status of the food, curved plate 12 to cover periphery of the furnace 6 from one side to increase temperature and an air blower 13 to blow air on furnace 6."
