MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020043 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'adaptable furniture formation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable furniture formation device, comprising a cylindrical body accessed by a user to place a sheet and configured with multiple telescopic rods 2 that provides support to body on a ground surface, a motorized wheel 3 is attached with each of rods for providing movement to body on surface, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 determines dimension and shape of sheet, a motorized sliding unit 5 configured with multiple T-shaped telescopic bars 6 positioning bars 6 at an optimum distance from each other followed by actuation of bars 6 for extending toward edges/circumference of sheet, an ultrasonic sensor detecting distance between first ends and edges/circumference for actuating multiple motorized clipping units 7 attached with each of first ends for gripping edges and circumference, and angle sensor detecting an inclination angle of placed sheet for actuating a speaker 8 generating voice commands in order to notify user."
