MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020425 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'adaptable fuel oil lamp for better visibility.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A adaptable fuel oil lamp for better visibility, comprises of a hollow cylindrical body 101 attached with an inverted U-shaped handle 102 to be gripped by a user, a motorized clipper 103 installed on handle 102 via a motorized slider 104 to for hanging body 101 on hook, a chamber 206 for storing fuel oil, a pair of brackets 201, 202 designated towards accommodating a wick, a microphone 105 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands, a wick-adjusting arrangement 203 to translate wick upwards, a flame igniter 204 arranged in body 101 by means of a link 205 for igniting a flame in wick, an imaging unit 107 to detect presence/absence of individuals around body 101, a mirror 108 attached with body 101 by means of pole 109 for deploying the mirror 108, a motorized sliding unit 110 for positioning at an appropriate angle."
