MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018170 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'adaptable food preparation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Pavan Kumar Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable food preparation assistive device, comprising of an elongated body 1 having a proximal 2 and a distal end 3, a handle 4 assembled with a loped strap 5 to acquire a grip on the body 1, a microphone 6 for receiving voice command of the user, an AI-based imaging unit 7for capturing images in vicinity of the body 1, a spiral-coiled structure 8 for performing reciprocatory movement, motorized sliding unit 9 for exerting reciprocatory pressure over a food item for mashing the food item, an electromagnetically powered spring 10for expanding/contracting to apply an internal pressure on the food items, a viscosity sensor 11 for determining consistency of the mashed food, a speaker 12 to produce audio notifications for the user regarding preparation of the mashed food item, a multi-sectioned chamber 13 for storing multiple ingredients and an electronic nozzle 14 to dispense a quantity of the ingredient into the food item."
