MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025583 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable food grilling device.'

Inventor(s) include Alpana Joshi; Manoj Kumar; Vikas Yadav; and Vikas Kumar.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable food grilling device comprises a body 1 arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 for user input regarding food items to be grilled, a L-shaped vertical support 3 positions a multi-sectioned chamber 4 over the body 1, plurality of motorized lids 5 integrated on the chamber 4 get opened, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 determines positioning of the chamber 4 with respect to a frame 7 mounted on the body 1, a pair of motorized hinge joints 9 provide movement to a pair of meshed plates 8 assembled in the frame 7, a robotic arm 10 grips positions food items in between the plates 8, a telescopically operated bar 11 positions a heating unit 12 in proximity to the plates 8, plurality of motorized iris lids 14 integrated on a multi-sectioned container 13 dispenses oil/ghee, and a color sensor monitors cooking status of the food items."
