MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026101 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adaptable fomentation device for head portion.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable fomentation device for head portion, comprising a flexible cylindrical body 1 worn by a user on user's head portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 determines positioning of body 1 on user's head portion, a multi-section double-layered sheet 3 filled with a gel-like substance that adapts to shape of user's head portion, a speaker 4 in notifies user for positioning a V-shaped cavity 5 over user's nose portion in order to properly accommodate body 1 on user's head portion, a motorized roller 6 tightening/loosening a strap 7 for tightening/loosening body 1 around user's head portion, plurality of buttons 8 are accessed by user for initiating heating of body 1, multiple heating plates integrated inside body 1 to heat substance for providing hot fomentation to user's head portion, and an EMG (electromyography) sensor monitors muscular activities of user's head portion muscles, and accordingly temperature is regulated."
