MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026035 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adaptable eyebrow stencil.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable eyebrow stencil, comprising a frame 1 developed to be positioned in proximity to a user's eyebrows, plurality of plates 2 crafting an opening over user's eyebrows, an imaging unit 3 to determine dimensions of eye-brow's natural lining, plurality of motorized hinges 4 to provide/converging movement to plates 2 for tilting plates 2 in a manner that opening is arranged on peripheral portion of the natural lining, a LiDAR sensor for determining presence of extra hair strands on the peripheral portion of the natural lining, a blade 5 by means of a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 6 for cutting the hair strands, a color sensor for detecting color of the user's eyebrows color, a foam pad 9 by means of a telescopically operated link 10to extend/retract for allowing the pad 9 to get dipped in the suitable color and assist user in filling the user's natural eye-brow lining."
