MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025404 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable emulsion coating device for metal sheets.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable emulsion coating device for metal sheets, comprising a body 1 position on a fixed surface, a touch interactive display 3 panel for user input, an imaging unit 2 installed on body 1 to determine dimensions of sheet along with any groove pattern of sheet, plurality of castor wheels 8 arranged underneath body 1 to move body 1 towards evaluated edge, a tactile sensor is integrated on wheels 8 for monitoring hardness of sheet, a multi-sectioned chamber 4 arranged in body 1 for storing different emulsions, a pair of motorized rollers 6 are arranged underneath body 1 to rotate for spreading dispensed emulsion on sheet, multiple electronically controlled valves integrated with rollers 6 to dispense an amount of emulsion from chamber 4 on sheet, plurality of electronically controlled sprinklers 7 integrated on chamber 4 to dispense emulsion from chamber 4 onto sheet for coating emulsion on sheet."
