MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023056 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'adaptable electric wire coiling device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jalees Ahmed; and Rajesh Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable electric wire coiling device, comprising a frame 1 having a pair of circular plates developed to be accessed by a user for coiling an electric wire, wherein the plates are aligned in a parallel manner and connected by means of telescopically operated rod 2, an imaging unit 3 installed on the frame 1 to determine presence of wire in vicinity of the frame 1, a motorized roller 4 integrated with a motorized clipper 5 arranged on the frame 1 for acquiring a grip over the wire's end in order to engage the wire on the roller 4, plurality of motorized clamping units 6 integrated with the frame 1 for gripping different lengths of wire in order to engage the wire in cavities, plurality of bristles 7 integrated at the frame 1 to clean the wire off any dust deposited on the wire."
