MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026133 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adaptable device for transferring pots of flowers and plants.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Chamkaur Singh; Anuradha Saini; Rajneesh Singh; and Abhishek Thakur.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable device for transferring pots of flowers and plants, comprising a rectangular shaped frame 1 developed to be attached rear portion of a vehicle, drawer arrangement 2 integrated on the frame 1 to extend/ retract for properly accommodating the frame 1 with rear portion of the vehicle, electromagnetic clamping units 3 for securing the frame 1 with the vehicle in a manner that the frame 1 facilitates as trailer for the vehicle, lifting arrangement 4 attached with frame 1 via a pair of L-shaped bars 5 for allowing a user to accommodate pots of flowers and plants, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for capturing multiple images of surroundings to detect dimensions of pots, motorized sliding unit 7 for arranging multiple horizontally and vertically arranged link rods (8,9) according to dimension of the pot, and telescopically operated link 10 extend for positioning rectangular member 11 thereby eliminating chances of misbalancing."
